Lt. Col. Todd Lally

Lt. Col. Todd Lally, AFNG (R-KY-3) of Louisville, Kentucky has served in the Air National Guard for 22 years and is running for election for Congress in the 3rd Congressional District of Kentucky.  He is running against Congressman John Yarmuth (D-KY-3), an extremely liberal two term Congressman in Pelosi’s inner-circle and is the strategic Communications Director for her Socialist agenda.  Todd was born in 1970, the 4th child in a family of 8 children, and grew up in Louisville, KY; he graduated from Atherton High School in 1988.   Todd paid his own way thru college and in 1993, he graduated from Tennessee State University with BS in Aerospace.            

 

Todd enlisted in the Kentucky Air National Guard in June 1988 at age 17, and served as a fuel specialist for 3.5 years; he was promoted to Staff Sgt. and cross trained as a Loadmaster.   In 1992-1993 SSgt Lally deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina and was awarded his first Air Medal for combat service.  In 1993 SSgt Lally was selected to attend the academy of Military Science and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant.  In 1995, Lt Lally attended Undergraduate Pilot Training at Columbus AFB, MS, and completed C-130 and Mission Qualifications at Little Rock AFB, AR.   Lt Lally flew countless missions in support of counter-drug operations in Central and South America; he did several more deployments to fly Operation Joint Forge missions into Bosnia and Kosovo.  In 2003, Major Lally deployed for one year to Germany and Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom; he hauled vital war material and performed many medical evacuations.  In 2007 Maj Lally deployed to Bagram AB, Afghanistan for 60 days and hauled vital war material and performed many medical evacuations.  As a graduate of USAF Mishap Investigators Course, he was deployed to Afghanistan to investigate a aircraft mishap.   In July 2009, Maj Lally was promoted to Lt. Col. Over the course of his 22 year Air National Guard career he rose from Airman Basic to Lt. Col.   Lt. Col. Lally’s combat awards include the Air Medal, the Aerial Achievement Medal with Oak Leaf, a second Air Medal for saving a man’s life,  and multiple campaign medals.  Lt. Col. Lally is the Air-Operations Officer for a Contingency Response Group.   

  

Lt. Col Lally is a First Officer at UPS Airlines and flies a 767 on international routes.    He is a member of the VFW, the Military Officers Association of America, St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Saddleback East Riding Club, plays on the Louisville Adult Hockey Players League, and was the former Vice-President of the National Guard Association of Kentucky.  Lt. Col. Lally has been endorsed by the Iraq War Veterans for Congress, Kentucky Right to Life, State Senator Dan Seum, the Majority Caucus Leader,  and the Combat Veterans For Congress PAC.  Todd and his wife, Heather, have two daughters age 9 and 13.
