Maj. Michael Crimmins, USMC (Ret) (R-CA-53) is a fiscally conservative candidate who will work toward reining in the out of control spending by the Pelosi Congress.   He was the Republican nominee in the 2008 race in the 53rd Congressional District against Congresswoman Susan Davis (D-CA-53).   He has been endorsed by Congressman Duncan H. Hunter (Ret), Congressman Barry M. Goldwater Jr. (Ret), Congressman Tom Tancredo (Ret), Sheriff Joe Arpaio (Arizona), T. J. Bonner, (President, National Border Patrol Council), as well as the Combat Veterans For Congress PAC. 
Maj. Crimmins was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Marine Corps and served one combat tour in Vietnam as an artillery officer, assigned to the 1st MAW; he was awarded a Combat Action Ribbon and Purple Heart for action in Vietnam. He then went thru flight training and became an A-6E Intruder Bombardier/ Navigator, and subsequently served in Operation Desert Storm.
