Support Statement:

I believe most Americans want to see changes in our government and society which will not only stop but reverse the current national trend toward less personal liberty and more public debt. Change is more than a slogan, it is the culmination of considered decisions and deliberate actions.  Positive change will only be initiated by elected leaders that possess the ethical, moral and spiritual strength to do what is right rather than what is expedient; elected leaders who have shown such strength not only by their words, but also by their past actions and associations.

Where will we find such leaders?  I am convinced that the greatest source of citizens with the proven ethical, moral and spiritual strength lies within the ranks of our retired veterans that have already amply demonstrated their devotion to our country by willingly going in harms way.

The Combat Veterans for Congress PAC supports only such individuals; individuals who are pledged to responsible fiscal policies, limited government as envisioned by our Founders, the preservation of our Constitution and the personal and public liberties so many before us fought to defend.

That is why I support Combat Veterans for Congress.

Best regards,
Jay Torbit
