Frank Drdek is a human resources and organizational development specialist who has a broad base of experience including Management/Employees Relations, Personal Coaching, Compensation, Development/Training, Employment and Diversity/Valuing the Individual.
His 30 year civilian career includes being a senior executive with Fortune 100 Companies (Caterpillar, NCR Corp., First American, Square D) as well as start-up/IPO companies (Proxima Corp., Industrial Computer Source).
In his career, Mr. Drdek as a Senior HR Manager with NCR Corp. staffed the entire Systems Software Division and led the organization changes that helped successfully launch the world’s most advanced mainframe computer. As Vice President with Square D Corp., he chaired their Vision-Mission Organization Improvement Program for the Electronics Group, which was nationally recognized. As Vice President with Proxima Corp., he recruited and hired the VP Engineering and VP Operations who engineered and manufactured the world’s first desktop projector gaining NASDAQ’S Top Performing Company Award.
In his 30 year US Naval career Captain Drdek was selected for four NR Commanding Officer positions which included commands at Subic Bay, Guam, and CincPacFlt Hawaii.
He served as an enlisted USNR member for three years aboard USS Shields (DD 596) before being commissioned in 1969 and serving two gun line tours at II Corps in Viet Nam as OOD & DCA aboard the USS Bradley (DE1041) and as Navigator aboard the USS Davis (DD937)
As Deputy for Training for 10,000 individuals in USNR Region 19 he received the top national award for readiness.
Mr. Drdek has a Bachelors Degree in Management from San Diego State University, Command Leadership certification from the U.S. Navy, a Community College teaching credential in Management from Palomar College, and instructor certifications from Zenger Miller, Development Dimensions International, Blanchard Training, and CBI (Competency Based Interviewing).
