Cong James Bridenstine, Lcdr-USNR (R-OK-1) Proposes Opposition to Health Care Law & Its 20 Taxes

  • Cong James Bridenstine, Lcdr-USNR (R-OK-1) Proposes Opposition to Health Care Law & Its 20 Taxes

Another Combat Veteran For Congress, Cong James Bridenstine, Lcdr-USNR (R-OK-1) http://jimbridenstine.com/, in defense of the US Constitution, is proposing a method to oppose the flawed Obama Health Care Law with its new hidden taxes (20 new taxes---Remember when we heard “We’ll see what is in it after we pass it.”—Pelosi).  The flawed Obama Health Care Law alone will increase new taxes for all Americans to over $1 trillion dollars over the next 10 years.  There are also new built in penalties in the flawed Obama Health Care Law that will be assessed by the IRS for various reasons, the law also allows the IRS to have access to the private banking accounts of all Americans so it can deduct penalties without the approval of taxpayers, and there is a new oppressive IRS reporting requirement for all taxpayers filing their annual tax returns to determine if they have health insurance.

In January 2013 Obama refused to extend the Bush tax cuts on higher income families and by doing so, imposed the second series of new taxes on American taxpayers.  Now Obama is proposing billions of dollars in a third new series of tax increases as a condition for him to modify the negative effects that sequestration will have on the operational readiness of the US military, the retention of combat trained military personnel, and on what the drastic DOD budget cuts will do to the US Armed Forces over the next 10 years.  For the first time in 237 years, the Commander-in Chief is insisting on higher taxes as a condition for him to take necessary action to mitigate sequestration and properly man/arm the US Armed Forces, so they will have the means defend the Republic from all enemies foreign and “domestic”.

The Republicans in Congress, including Congressman Bridenstine, opposed this third attempt to impose a new list of tax increases, and finally put its foot down and said there will not be a third new series of taxes imposed on the American people.  Last week Obama said debt is not a problem after irresponsibly driving the US debt up by $6 trillion in 4 years; now Obama is trying to convince the American people that imposing higher taxes on them, and borrowing $0.46 of every dollar he spends, will allow him to spend his way out of debt—no person, business, bank, city, county, state, or country has ever been able to spend its way out of debt.  Obama’s economic policy is an insane economic policy, is driving the Republic into bankruptcy, that no learned & well trained economist has ever heard of such an economic policy, and by definition, it is an oxymoron.

Congressman Bridenstine agrees with all Republican US Senators who voted to repeal the flawed Obama Health Care Law, except Senator Mitch McConnell who said he will not oppose the flawed Obama Health Care Law.

Congressman Bridenstine agrees with the opposition by the governors in 23 states who reported that they will not set up state exchanges so the Federal Government cannot invade their state health care systems; that is a serious problem for implementation of the flawed Obama Health Care Law in those 23 states: (Alabama,   Alaska,   Arizona,    Georgia,   Indiana,   Kansas,   Louisiana,   Maine,   Michigan,   Missouri,   Montana,   Nebraska,   New Hampshire,   North Dakota,   Ohio,  Oklahoma,   Pennsylvania,   South Carolina,   South Dakota,   Tennessee,   Texas,   Wyoming,   and Wisconsin  will not set up state exchanges).

Congressman Bridenstine agrees with and supports Congressman Paul Ryan’s most recent proposal to mobilize Congressional opposition to the flawed Obama Health Care Law using US Congressional regulations.

Republican Oklahoma Rep. Jim Bridenstine gestures in an interview with The Daily Caller's Ginni Thomas.

After just over two months in office, Republican Rep. Jim Bridenstine has already set the tone for his first two-year term in Congress as a leader who cares more about principle than party.

For instance, the 37-year-old native of Tulsa, Okla. did not vote for John Boehner to be Speaker of theHouseDescription: Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: http://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png and tried last week to get the House to vote to defund Obamacare despite push back from House leadership.

Before coming to Congress, Bridenstine served his country by flying combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. He never ran for public office before deciding with his friends in his living roomDescription: Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: http://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png to challenge Republican Rep. John Sullivan, who had voted to increase the debt limit. Bridenstine surprised many by defeating Sullivan in the primary before cruising to victory in the general election last November.

Bridenstine says Obamacare “is a government takeover” and says Chief Justice John Roberts is “incorrect” on the Affordable Care Act being a tax. He says he wants “Congress to take back its constitutional authority.”

“Just because the Supreme Court rules on something doesn’t necessarily mean that that’s constitutional,” he said.

Bridenstine petitioned the House Rules Committee to allow his amendment to defund Obamacare to be voted on, but the Republican leadershipDescription: Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: http://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png opposed him. Now, Sen. Ted Cruz is seeking a similar amendment when the Senate takes up the “continuing resolution” this week.

As we air the rest of Bridenstine’s interview this week, you will learnDescription: Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: http://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png about Bridenstine’s path to Congress, why he didn’t vote for Speaker Boehner, how Washington is changing the legislative process to squelch the consent of the governed, and how he assesses bills with nice-sounding titles. (RELATED: House Republicans outline new fight on Obamacare)
